Are you fully insured?
Yes. Every move is covered by Goods in Transit and Public Liability insurance. We'll share the relevant policy details in writing alongside your quote if you'd like to see them.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
No deposit is required for most local moves. For long-distance or specialist jobs we may ask for a 10% deposit to hold the date. The balance is always payable on completion.
How is the price calculated?
We quote a fixed price based on property size, distance, access at both ends and any packing or assembly you'd like included. The number in your written quote is the number you pay — no day-of surprises.
How quickly will I hear back?
One of the founders responds to every enquiry personally, the same day and usually within the hour between 7am and 9pm, seven days a week.
Do you cover long-distance moves?
Yes. We're based in Derby and cover the East Midlands as standard, and we undertake long-distance moves throughout England on request. Anything over roughly 100 miles is individually quoted.
What if something gets damaged?
We treat your home like our own — floors are protected, furniture is wrapped, and fragile items are packed properly. In the rare event that something is damaged, our insurance covers repair or replacement and we handle it without argument.
Can you help with packing?
Yes. We can pack your entire home, pack fragile items only, or leave you to it — whichever you prefer. All packing is done with proper materials and labelled room by room.
